DescriptionMaybe it is the most published piece of comic art, maybe it isn't, but everyone remembers the ad. I was finally able to track Russ Heath down for a commission and ,as I like to go off the beaten path a little, he readily agreed to update his iconic ad.Social/Sharing |

I wanted those darn things so much when I was a kid, and could never afford them- what an awesome idea for a commission, and Russ did a wonderful job in bringing it to life!!!

I remember trying to redraw this as a kid for a history report in grammar school on a big piece of oak tag paper. This brings back memories!

After all those times of looking at that great ad art when I was a kid, I thought you had a wonderful idea to have it recreated. Russ did an exceptional job!
