Description

What could make a wonderful, intricate, highly detailed pencil commission by Ivan Reis better?

Well, you get a master artist, the caliber of Kevin Nowlan to ink a blue line of the original pencil piece!!

Then you preserve the wonderful, intricate, highly detailed Reis pencils while being able to enjoy the lush, rich inks of someone who REALLY knows what they are doing.

Kevin was so great to work with on my "Bizarro's Trophy Wall" that I really wanted to see what he could do with this piece. After talking to Tim Townsend about the pencils he suggested, strongly, that Kevin would be perfect for this job....and he was right on.

Many thanks to Kevin for taking this project on, for performing with such zest and finishing so quickly. I did not know it, but Kevin is a big fan of Ivan's work as well. So I guess it was meant to be.

So Tim gets the credit as "Technical/Intellectual Property Producer" on this piece. If he would not have suggested Kevin it might not have clicked in my head....and I would have missed out on these spectacular results.

So thanks to Spencer for having the original created for me and to Tim for the great idea.

"Here we have Sinestro in all his malevolent glory, yellow power ring held high. The heads of the Green Lantern Corps he has collected behind him(top to bottom, left to right) and encircled in deadly yellow power:

STOP IT...STOP IT....STOP IT.....how are the rest of us theme collectors supposed to keep up if you continue to obtain and post such wonderful artwork. The pairing of Kevin and Ivan is genius and this piece is tremendous!!!
