DescriptionI love the color palette chosen for this cover. The colors just pop out in person!!!! It's also neat to have a Mignola painting that is large (by his standards) as the image area itself is 11x17 on a larger board.Big thanks to Eric De Los Santos for pointing out where this was. .....by the way dude, get a decent scan done for cryin' out loud. You paid enough for the damn thing! This piss poor photo is almost an insult to Mignola and to the piece! After all, Irving thinks it's "the best Mignola in existence!" =)

A Mignola painting! And to think one always associates Mignola with high-contrast black and white. The backgrounds look unreal! I love this story, in fact I picked it up in a bargain bin just last year. Congrats, Joe.

Amazing, wonderful, fantastic...and everything else everybody's already said. Mignola spent years studying Frazetta's work (haven't we all?!?), only fitting he incorporate it into a piece, and he did such a damn good job of it, too! Terrific acquisition!

I can't believe I haven't left a comment yet!?! This is still one of my favourite pieces on CAF!!! =) I love how it looks like Wolverine and Apocalypse landed in the middle of an epic Frazetta piece, AWESOME!!!

Somehow I have never seen this cover, but this is truly incredible! This is the most colors I have ever see Mignola use and it works beautifully.

How is this been on here for 4 years without me seeing it? What a memorable cover image. I need to dig this book up and read it again. Watercolors are so more intense and dramatic than the markers and digitals that everyone is using. I don't blame you for putting up a NOT FOR SALE on it.
